Black George is the English name of Karađorđe Petrović, the leader of the First Serbian Uprising of 1804 and founder of the Karađorđević line. His coat of arms, the crowned helmet and the monogram on the shield, is the emblem you see on our buttons and on our trucks.
We chose it for what it stands for: courage, independence and loyalty to the people who count on you. A small company with a big name has to earn it every single load.
The owner, Nemanja Grujić, is not in an office watching a screen. He drives one of the trucks himself, on the same lanes and the same schedule as everyone else. The paperwork and dispatch are handled by two people who know every driver by first name. That is the whole company, and that is on purpose: when the owner is behind the wheel, nobody gets treated like a number.
